Q:
Why does Fiverr allow & encourage DECEITFUL sellers?
I'm sure they get some compensation of some kind from the people they allow on their site. And that is probably why the sellers' prices are so low. The more people they get, the more money they make, and Fiverr probably gets some of that. Nothing is free.

Fiverr cares for the their sellers. But their major concern is the need of the buyers. To make sure their buyers are satisfied

They no longer care about sellers' needs. Do not give clear guidelines on their terms and conditions, and do not have an investigation department for issues noted

Q:
I have been scammed on FIVERR by an artist. The customer service is terrible. I filled in and tried to send their firm ten times without success. Undesired tin I raised a disputed with PayPal. They responded then! I don't think they liked it! They emailed me saying that they had an excellent customer support team and to drop my OayPal dispute. I didn't! But I'd like to know what they do about scammers? They say my money is in my FIVERR balance but I can't see it there. Surely if shouod be refunded anyway. I shall continue with PayPal and attempt to report this scamming artist myself. Has anyone else been scammed?
Fiverr is basically an escrow service. They hold your money and it is not given to the Seller until 2 weeks (or 1 week for Top Rated Sellers) after you accept the order OR if the seller submits a delivery and you don't respond in 3 days. Then it's considered delivered. You have the ability to request a cancellation with the seller -- tell them you need to cancel for some reason, and the seller should agree and then neither party is penalized. You get your money back into your Fiverr account, but you cannot leave a review for the seller at that point. Even if you walked away with a product, and something wrong happened the seller isn't getting money for 1-2 weeks. You can complain to Fiverr or the seller, and the Seller and you can both contact customer service and ask them to reverse the order. The money comes out of escrow back into your account. I'm trying to help, but this seems more like a place where unhappy people come to gripe about Fiverr. I have many repeat orders from many happy customers, so they have to be doing something right -- and if there were zero quality sellers, why would these people keep coming back to me?! It's not always easy to find both cheap and good quality service. Perhaps this is the problem? In other words, most people are attracted to Fiverr because they think they can get great quality for no money. I get a lot of people who ask for a lot for $5. Without realizing I only get $4 of that $5. I turn a lot of buyers away. I'm the wrong fit for someone who would rather it be cheap than it be done right.

The artist makes next to nothing after Fiver takes their fees. However Fiver doesn't pay them at all until you accept the finished work. So I don't understand how you got scammed if you accepted the job as complete. If Fiver charged you for a job you never accepted then file a complaint, post a review, but for $5 I wouldn't lose a lot of sleep over it. Just never do business with them again and be glad it was only $5. People have lost far more on internet fraud.

Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do but move on. It's time, money and energy wasted. Fiverr is in the business of providing cheap services and we all have heard the old "you get what you pay for" saying. The customer support team at Fiverr is non existent. They mock you with first showing empathy and that they've reached out to the seller. Ultimately they do not have your money and they are just the middle man between you and the seller. One would hope They keep count of how many complaints an individual seller gets and eventually say's..."maybe it's time this seller be dropped". Other than complaining and I know the seller I worked with hated negative feedback, there isn't anything you can do. Save yourself the stress, right the negative review and move on. Good luck, Dina

I would like to have a new resume done, but when I look on the site there are sooooo many people saying they provide this service. I don't know how to go about picking one that is going to be able to provide me with the service that I need at the best price. I need more than just a simple resume.
Stay far away from fiverr. I paid a guy to do some work and proved with third party techniques they used bots for fake views to my site. Yet this guy had many many great reviews. You cannot trust this site whatsoever. Stick with paypal as you most likely will get nowhere with fiverr.

Read the reviews for Fiver in general. What kind of a fool would do business with them after reading how unhappy all their "customers" are with the company? Don't be an idiot. Go somewhere else.

Better to go someplace else. You may get nothing from them.

Q:
I'm nervous about finding a programmer for website. Found someone with really good reviews but is in Sri Lanka. I'm expecting a significant cost to hand over to a stranger that lives in another country. No recourse there or it seems from fiverr if they don't refund your money in those instances. Should I look elsewhere for a service that is critical to my website success? And if so, WHERE?!
Never Ever Go With Fiverr. It's Fraud Company. All Money of your They Will eat and Support is worthless. If you will ask or clam for money they will block your account no one will replay. This is Call F Both are Shamed Freelancer & Fiverr Thanks It's Better to Work for Free

There certainly are some good and honest providers on fiverr. As long as your investment into the particular service isn't too big, you might want to give it a try. Just in case it does not work for you - forget about your investment and walk away. Do not expect ANY support from fiverr.

I would be concerned about something of that magnitude also, email me if you like, I have a designer I recently found that might be able to help you, let me know your budget also to facilitate the deal for you, if you'd like, all in the USA. Robliano at yahoo.com

The answer is plain simple NO! You will get your followers, yes! But they are all bots, so you will lose 90% of the followers the same week, might as well throw this 5 bucks in the air.

I have used them many times for advertising on Backpage and Craigslist. There has never been a problem and certainly no complaints on my part about paying $5. When you find a Seller who does a great job, you simply go to that Individual each time you return to Fiverr.com to order another job. GREAT SERVICE FROM MY VIEW. J
